Nicole Taweel

Stage Manager

Nicole is very excited to be working with the cast and crew of Six-On-Six! She has been a stage manager to many shows, including: Stage West’s: Frozen, Johnny Guitar, The Underpants, Miss Witherspoon, and Reefer Madness; The Des Moines Playhouse’s: Footloose, High School Reunion, and The Graduate; TFAC’s: Corleone, The Shakespearian Godfather; Entertainment 2 Go’s: Honky Tonk Laundry. She has also filled various backstage roles such as Assistant Stage Manager, props, light board operator, spot light operator, shift captain/crew, and dresser.

Marc Francisco

Crew Chief

Marc has performed various technical roles in local productions including Caucus! The Musical; Leading Ladies; Grease; Doubt, a Parable; Thoroughly Modern Millie and The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid: A Memoir. Marc is Director of Digital Services for CDS Global in Des Moines.

Annette Duffy

Assistant Stage Manager

Annette is a familiar face to Des Moines audiences having appeared in Fiddler on the Roof (Urbandale Community Theatre), CowGirls (Drama Workshop), Ruthless (StageWest) and several productions at the Des Moines Playhouse. Those productions include Grease, Year With Frog and Toad, Seussical the Musical, Hello Dolly, Ragtime and many more. She also traveled to the Wagon Wheel Theatre in Warsaw, Indiana for a production of The Sound of Music. When she is not in front of the curtain, she enjoys working backstage. Annette is a Business Consultant for CDS Global.

James Stephenson

Set Construction

The current Technical Director for Tallgrass Theatre Company (West Des Moines, IA), James has lived in the Des Moines area for the past 8 years. He co-founded Tallgrass Theatre Company in 2002 and has held several roles within the company, including Artistic Director, Technical Director, and Production Manager, as well as being a constant fixture on the Board of Directors. James also co-founded the Iowa Playwrights Workshop under the umbrella of Tallgrass Theatre in 2006, where the annual program continues to bring the fresh work of Iowa writers to the stage. James' design and occasional performance work can be found gracing the Rex Mathes stage where Tallgrass presents its season productions.

James graduated from UNI with a BA in Theatre in 1999.

Donna Kunkel

Costumes

Donna is a local seamstress who has provided costumes for several shows including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and The Sound of Music. She is currently employed by the Des Moines Playhouse and operates her own sewing business.
